LibreOffice 6+ is now available for Windows, OSX and Linux. There is also a cloud edition, though we do not recommend the use of any cloud-based office suite. You can install it without complicatoin in any system with another office suite, so give it a try. Yes, it can open / edit / create / save all Microsoft file formats except MS Access databases.
LibreOffice is the official office suite throughout NDAS. It is not only used for all business purposes but is the layout environment of choice for 98+% of our clients (individual / business / corporate / gov. divisions). We’ll have more at a later time about why you should choose an ODT (Open Document Text) layout over that of InDesign.
